We are a group of Black fathers, sons and daughters who want to make a positive change in our communities and the world. What started as heartfelt conversations with our kids about life and its many challenges, turned into our four pillars of t.r.u.t.h. As we all strive to create legacy for our future generations, we have now joined forces as advocates, mentors, entrepreneurs, artists, therapists, spiritual leaders, teachers, psychologists, and activists to create this organization we call t.r.u.t.h.
t.r.u.t.h. is a community-based organization that provides social, economic, health & wellness resources for young adults. Our mission is to elevate, enlighten and empower young adults through education, mentoring, life skills training and political action.
All young adults face major life decisions between the ages of 17 to 30. A large majority of young adults are forced to figure out life without proper resources or community support. They may also face challenges of economic deficiency, homelessness, hopelessness, depression, or imprisonment.
t.r.u.t.h. addresses the urgent need for services for young adults at the critical point of transition into adulthood. t.r.u.t.h. provides community resources, webinars, mentorship, counseling, and life planning programs to help young adults develop their goals. Furthermore, we assist young adults with the tools and resources they need to attain their goals.
t.r.u.t.h. believes in boosting positive energy to encourage total health and healing of the mind, body, and soul. We sponsor wellness education programs and services to support optimal mental health and well-being.
